Descent – The following individuals are automatically considered citizens of the Emirate due to their ancestry: Any Arab family that established themselves in one of the member Emirates on or before the year 1925 and who kept their domicile in the Emirate until the entry into force of the implementation of Federal Law No.17 of 1972 is eligible for citizenship under this law.
