They are referred to as “Emiratis” (citizens of united Arab Emirates or GCC) When I was in Dubai, the local inhabitants were referred to as Dubaians. However, regardless of their place of origin inside the UAE, those who are a citizen of the UAE are typically referred to as Emirati.
